Wooyoung was born on November 26th, 1999 in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He attended Hanlim Multi Arts High School and was in the same class as Golden Child’s Tag and Idol School’s Bin Haneul during his Senior Year. Wooyoung was a former BigHit Trainee before joining KQ Entertainment. He was a contestant in the survival show MIXNINE before debuting with ATEEZ.
