Stray Kids Felix: The Australian K-pop Star
Kids Felix is a member of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids, which debuted in 2018 under JYP Entertainment. He is the lead dancer, rapper, and visual of the group, and is also part of the dance sub-unit DANCERACHA. Look at Stray Kids Felix: The Australian K-pop Star.
Early Life and EducationFelix was born on September 15, 2000, in Sydney, Australia. His birth name is Lee Felix and his Korean name is Lee Yong Bok. He has two sisters, Rachel and Olivia. He grew up in the Seven Hills suburb and attended St Patrick’s Marist College, a Catholic private school. CareerPre-debutFelix was scouted by JYP Entertainment when he was in middle school, after receiving an online message asking him if he wanted to audition. He auditioned with a freestyle dance and joined the company in February 2017. He moved to South Korea on Valentine’s Day of the same year. Felix participated in the survival show Stray Kids, which aired from October to December 2017. The show aimed to form a new boy group that could self-produce their own music. Felix impressed the viewers and the judges with his rap and dance skills, as well as his charming personality and fluent English. However, he was eliminated on episode 8 due to his struggle with Korean language. He was later brought back on the final episode and confirmed to debut with Stray Kids. Debut and BeyondFelix made his official debut with Stray Kids on March 26, 2018, with the mini album I am NOT. Since then, he has been actively promoting the group and releasing various songs, albums, and videos. Some of his notable works include “GLOW”, “WHO?”, “Mixtape#4”, “Mixtape#5”, “God’s Menu”, “Back Door” and “Thunderous”. He has also participated in writing lyrics for some of the group’s songs, such as “Mixtape#2”, “Mixtape#3” and “Mixtape: OH”. Felix is part of Stray Kids’ dance sub-unit DANCERACHA, along with Lee Know and Hyunjin. He has showcased his choreography skills through the SKZ-PLAYER series, where he performed solo dances to songs by Billie Eilish and Post Malone.
