Early Life and Career

Mingyu was street-casted by Pledis Entertainment staff near his school Burim Middle School when he was in the 2nd grade. He became a trainee for Pledis Entertainment in his 2nd year of middle school and trained for four years before debuting with SEVENTEEN in 2015.

Personal Life

Mingyu has a younger sister. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball, making plastic models/action figures, and playing bass in a high school band. He also likes to vacuum and clean up the trash in the dorm. For the latest KPOP products, click here.
