K-POP is easily recognized as “Popular music in Korea.” Although, once you take a farther look into K-POP, you’ll notice that the genre uses many other genres and styles of music from other countries. A lot of groups, such as the highly renowned BTS, have a large western influence. This is evident in the styles of music genres used.
